Last week I met Abigail Lawrence. She is a hidden gem of a MUA based in Wigan. The moment she came to the studio, both Ellie and I were enamoured. We have so much in common, one being crafts (can you believe it?! - yay!) Her portfolio is out of this world and of course her own makeup and MEZZIN eyebrows are testament to her talent. Abi is going to work on some makeover shoots with me and I cannot wait for her to transform our clients.
She came over again today and we talked about anything and everything. Every time we divert a subject and lead onto something els,e we are both laughing as we are very much into the same thing. I think she is adorable. So, whilst she was in the studio, I wanted to try out my newest beauty dish on her. Test shots are a photographers dream and as i am obsessed with light fall in anyway that enhances skin tone, Abi was my perfect test girl.
She has the most striking jawline and skin. The camera loves her and I love my beauty dish. So it was a winner all round. These were just a few of the beauty dish shots, working the butterfly effect. There arde a million lighting effects i want to use all of the time but some faces and angles just won't work - these ones do. It helps that Abi has an amazing face :)
And now I must go as Im up early for a client shoot viewing and she has over 300 images to scroll through!
Im back with ATC's tomorrow :)
Love
Kirsty
