Lately there has been lots of cuddling. Nobody could ever refuse a cuddle and the best ones are that come from her without me asking first.
We are talking a lot more, too. And she has a friend who is a boy!!! Not a boyfriend, per se. His name is Mike and I think she has taken to him as a pal.
Ellie wasn't well in college the other day and when she came home to explain what happens she said, quite grown-upply......... "you know, I was quite touched that Mike was concerned for me when I got sick". The fact that she spoke like this surprised me but also made me smile.
Love this little dolly of mine. Isn't she wonderful?

not so good re being ill but great that college life and a normal peer group friendship situation is possible. Hopefully the start of a much improved time and a lot of teenage fun to come.
